  1. Since when is Kevin John putting an original logo on their knives?
Usually they'd even write Kevin John on the backside of the blade.
Difficult to speak about a legitimate copy but this doesn't "feel" like a KJ to me...

    1. Occasionally they put the CR logo or the Idaho made text on the handle.
If you google for "Kevin John Sebenza" you will find a couple of pics. For example Sebenza Tiger Eyes, Wilson Combat Umnumzaan "Starbenza" with S35VN blade etc.

    2. Anyway ball bearings with M390 blade is a nice upgrade. Like my integral Evil Eyes SNG with M390 blade, you know "Ours is better!" :))

    3. The KJ XM24 has "Titanium" on the scale in stead of "Hinderer" lol. I used to love the look of the Umnumzaan. Untill I received the worst copy (mirror polished D2) ever a couple of years ago. I used the screws and washers for other knives...KJ should be slightly better though.

    4. I also have one of those not too successful Wild Boar(?) versions of the Umnumzaan! :) I guess I would be happy with a D2 KJ version around $100.

  2. That Dead Silence seems a bit overpriced for VG10 and G10 scales. Kudos for an original design though.

    1. I suppose the liners and the backspacer are made of titanium. The red - black combo looks very tempting. I might sacrifice my $5 coupon for one on 11.11. :)

    2. There is also a M390 and Carbon Fiber version for 145$ in DHgate, which in my opinion is a much better price to product relationship.

    3. It depends on your budget. :) I'm happy with my regular VG-10 version. The M390/CF variant is not worth double price for me.
