Review: Enlan EW054-1 - a wicked persian style flipper

Enlan EW054-1 persian style flipper
Excellent design with SD / tactical blade style

After the renowned EL-01 Enlan released another full sized heavy duty flipper with a very budget friendly price tag.

Pros:
- very good ergonomics with excellent fit and finish
- big comfortable handle for even XL hands
- several jimpings on the handle and on the lock-bar
- aggressive, pointy perfectly centered blade with a nice satin finish
- convenient flipper or thumb stud opening
- comfortable liner-lock
- massive, thick liners and lock-bar
- the pivot screw can be adjusted by a coin

Cons:
- it needs a little wrist flick to help the flipper opening
- due to the heavy duty liners it's a bit overweight
- no lanyard hole although I don't miss it

  1. If you don't want to use a CHinese shop you can get this re-branded as Enforcer Slicer. There's offers for less than €20 + shipping.

    1. I should start a new knife brand too by rebranding Enlan, Ganzo, Sanrenmu and Harnds folders! :)) The only thing I miss is a good name! ;)

    2. A good name like Real Steel Knives, Firebird or Magnum?
How about Sharp Knives Company? Oh, existing already.
Then The Sharpest Knives Co. Same generic but cooler ;)

    3. I need something very tactical! Like VDO (Very Dark Operations), Frozen Steel, Task-force Doom etc. to be able to compete with the rest. :)))

    4. Maybe something simple, like Reaper's Scythe & Knife Co or Grim Reaper's Blades ;)

    5. Yes, I can hear the "Don't fear the Reaper" in the background. :)
