  1. I was browsing ft cos of your post (but I refused to order anything, sorry pal ;)
    Have you seen this one?

What the heck is that lever close to the pivot on some of the pictures?
    Some kind of LAWKS maybe?

P.S. I'm not a fan of tiger striped knives but on this one it's especially ugly imo.

    1. That's a sort of safety lever. It seems you have to disengage it before flipping the folder open. It's not the brightest idea...

    2. Strange. I like the overall shape of the knife but if I want such a "secure" knife then why making it a flipper?
If you could put it from this "safe" position to an "unsafe" one it would make sense, somehow, but this way? Would like to see a video review on this one :)

    3. Yes, that safety switch is as useless as nipples on a breastplate. :))

  2. P.P.S. I think with this one my knife budget for the next millenium will be spent:

    2. Yes, seems a bit steep. I mean, it's cool somehow, 80 years packed, still like new, forgotten in an old knife shop. But seriously, who'd buy that whole set? You'd have to be (a very successful) cutlery shop to do that for display but our hobby is not the most profitable so I doubt they'll sell it this way. Maybe seperate boxes but in the end I think they'll just sell them one by one. Or they should've asked a cutlery museum, like the Case Knives museum...
