Review: Sanrenmu S611 compact fixed blade knife

Another excellent design by Sanrenmu
- good ergonomics with excellent fit and finish
- good quality sheath with adjustable belt loop
- razor sharp, high sabre ground blade with a nice stone washed finish
- sharpening choil
- good slicing performance
- strong full tang construction
- comfortable G10 handle
- protruding lanyard loop

- the sheath could be smaller

- although the retention of the sheath is good it makes some rattling noise

Making bamboo sticks wasn't a challenge:

  1. I have it in blue with using a blue paracord necklace and its a awesome knife indeed. The only bad thing is the small hand guard that is useless if you use the knife very hard.

    1. I was surprised by its initial sharpness out of the box. It cut those green bamboo sticks like a light sabre. :)

It's a compact sized fixed blade. For a really demandig work I would use a full sized knife like my Ontario SP5 Survival Bowie or my Camillus BK-2.

  2. you can also got it on ALIEXPRESS:
