Review: Ganzo Firebird F7611 CF with the FB7601 and the F7562 models side by side

Ganzo F7562, FB7601 and the new F7611
Best of Ganzo in CF: F7562, FB7601 and the new F7611 :)

If you always wanted a full sized version of the Benchmade BM940 with a budget friendly price tag then the F7562 is waiting for you with its excellent fit & finish and smooth action.

The FB7601 is the first axis-lock Ganzo with ball bearings and a deep carry pocket clip. Have a look at my full review HERE.

The new F7611 is also a surprisingly good design with its unique, wide, leaf shaped blade and its comfortable, curved handle which fits your hand as a glove.

Pros:
- superb ergonomics with excellent fit and finish
- unique, leaf shaped blade with excellent slicing performance
- centered shaving sharp blade with a nice satin finish
- smooth opening and closing
- updated axis-lock with comfortable smooth ended axle
- solid lock-up
- comfortable, curved handle with pretty carbon fiber / G10 laminate handle scales
- micro fiber pouch as extra

Cons:
- full CF handle scales would be nice but they would rise the price for sure

  1. The CF layer is looking nice but it is too slippy and without the weight advantage of full CF. I prefer the G10 version or wood.

    1. I'm planning to give the CF a slight mat finish by fine sandpaper.

    1. It's hard to decide. Maybe the new F7611. I really like its handle design.
