  1. Hey Isti, for sure you can tell me where I've seen this knife already:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/1901/10050811/9641524-ef-outdoor-portable-stainless-steel-folding-knife

It's looking like a good kitchen folder, like the TwoSun I'm eyeing for a while. But this generic EF or Eafengrow brand sounds same "good" to me as SR Knives. When I see their latest models I must say though that they stepped up their game which is good, but their earlier models are really crappy...

    1. It reminds me of the Brous Blades Raven. This seller on Ali has much better pics of it.

    2. If it's the same quality but with EF branding than it sounds like a good deal.

Scales like this would be interesting:

    3. But well, those holes are not so good for a kitchen knife, or in any blade at all...

    4. That flipper with the G10 - CF scales looks quite interesting!
It's super light weight with 62g.

    5. I thought the same, and it's a good way to use that G10/CF compound.

Just be aware that it's 176 mm total length.

  2. By the way, I just received my SRM 7129 (dragon) and despite the size I must say that I like it. There are some minor flaws, like an uneven handrubbed finish and some sharp edges but for $6 it was a great buy.
Now there's the bigger yet similar RUIKE P801 which is also a flipper.
I don't really like the blue stuff on it but I can take care of that.
Thing is only that $30 + $15 from the US is a bit expensive with the prices we got used to from China. Do you know an unbranded version of this or maybe even a Ti version?

    1. Don't you like the blue pocket clip and thumb studs of the RUIKE P801?
For $45 it was a bit pricey. I could buy it cheaper here. The SRM 9103 is still a much better deal.

    2. True. I'd say I'd buy a clean version $20, maybe 25 which is the price of the 9103 atm.

    3. The SRM 9103 is $18.99 at the moment but don't worry the 4th Anniversary Sale of GB is coming! :)

    4. I don't like to buy from GB anymore. 7-8 Dollars for shipping to CH makes me prefer FT. Less discount, still cheaper.

    5. ...and I have this Sebenza already, I'd prefer a shape like the P801...

    6. Now you can compare the 12C27 blade of the SRM to 14C28 blade of the Ruike! :)

    7. Maybe if I find a good deal. Honestly I have enough knives atm.
Maybe the 7129 will get a copper scale, it's small and thin enough so the weight increase won't matter.
I also have to tune the Y-Start LK5013D a bit, it's just not on par with SRMs quality standards yet still a good knife for $20

  3. Also by the way I don't like such deep carry clips. They tend to have rather sharp edges after prologed use especially. I prefer a standard clip mounted close to the butt of the handle.

    1. Me too. It's easier to grab the knife in my pocket with a standard clip.

  4. That G10+CF lightweight flipper is a clone of the new Kershaw Atmos designed by Sinkevich which retails for $30. Since Kershaw use 8Cr13 and the clone is "D2" (9Cr18MoV?) is it a cheaper knife with better steel? I've seen it as low as $19.
