  1. The Griffin looks like a KJ Wing/ "radiation" crossover. The new KJ is interesting. Just received a double edged folding dagger which is meh but has the same way of (wave) opening ..I think. Kevin Johns' fit and finish should be outstanding, without a doubt. The Venom Attacker for example is one of my most precious knives. Talking about unusual blades, check out the new XL Stitch in D2 from Samier on DHgate (I hope the link works;)

    1. Yes, the Griffin looks like the budget version of the KJ Wings.

That Stitch looks quite weird for sure. :)

  2. Just found your gifs about Microtech clones, how do you like the UTX85 ?
I feel that the handle of the copy is really longer than the original, so it loses its principal interest which is its compactness...

    1. Unfortunately that`s not my gif. I received that from the seller.
I`m about to order the the "gladius" UTX so sooner or later I`ll find that out. :)

    2. I got one of the new UTX knives. Mine's a drop point but the handle is the same. The handle is 11cm without glass breaker and 12cm with. Hope that helps!

    3. Do you have the satin or the stonewashed version? How do you like it? I was contemplating the drop point versions for a while but at last I went for the gladius. I hope it'll arrive soon. :)

    4. Thank you D Kim, that's what I thought... I already own an ultratech clone and find the handle to be too long. It's 11,5cm without the glass breaker and 12,5cm with it. So the UTX85 clone is far from being as compact as the real one :-(
I would have choose the drop point too, still the most useful profile IMO
      I guess I won't EDC an auto...
