      I've been browsing through the coast line of China on Google Maps to find something similar but in vain. :)

  2. The Spydie Chef looks quite interesting, although I don't really use my folders for food prep as the name and blade shape indicate it is the most useful for. Plus, I don't have any Damascus knife ... hummm...

  4. dear blog owner, do you own the mini spydiechef? How do you like it? I'm mainky concerened that the framelock is soft tianium and will deform with time developping lock issues

  5. I have the damascus version. I can't comment on the frame-lock wearing out since it gets very limited EDC time because it's a bit too small for my taste (overall length 6.7" / 170 mm).
    Chris Reeve & Strider make titanium frame-lock folders without a steel lock-bar insert for a long time. So I don't think it's a serious concern.
