  1. Got the Vosofferyn Fric Bric in (aka the "Mini Serge" -- it's not a Panchenko design, it's a Vosofferyn).

Interesting. It is MUCH smaller than the original, at 4.25" OAL with a 1.75" blade.

The pivot is on bearings, which makes it smoother than the original.

And yes, there is the neat ball detent that gives it a little closing and open click.

The clip is WAY too tight, and the pivot is cut in a way that it's impossible to tighten (the obverse side doesn't have a fastener hole and the frame isn't D-cut so it rotates whenever you try to tighten or loosen).

No idea what the quality of the steel or titanium is.

Wish it was full size and had a usable clip, but it's a nice piece. All in all, a neat little toy.

    1. Yep, received mine today, too.
Same problem as yours with the pivot (I managed to tighten it a bit, still, by blocking the obverse side with a "sticky ball" normally used to open screw back watch cases, but only marginally.
On mine the clip is tight but not crazily so.
You're right, it's a nice little toy, and actually much more usable than most of the "mini-sized" knives (that I've taken to accumulate, even if I rarely change the "coin" that is on my key chain for any other piece. Sometimes the bean, but that's it).

    2. Thank you for your feedback!
You could try to adjust the pivot by pushing the opposite end against a piece of rubber or double sided tape placed on a table top.

    3. I sometimes has success with spinning pivots by ng the surface with a non-clorinated break cleaner and it evaporates completely. Then I try a strong tape, such as Gorilla tape and apply pressure as I tighten or loosen.

    4. I usually put the knife in a cup filled with hot water to lighten the loctite. Then I put the tip of the blade in a gap like at a drawer and apply slight lateral force at the blade. This usually blocks the pivor from spinning so that I can turn out the screw.
It worked on my Shirogorov Neon clone and on my CRKT Swindle...

    5. Got the Tigend today. Awesome flipping action. Clip is way too stiff, but it's a great $20 knife and very lightweight. Thanks for the heads up!

    6. You're welcome! :)
I have an orange Y-Start version which I slightly modded (dark grey acid etched pocket clip, smoothed G10 scales). It's a nice compact sized folder for sure.
