Sanrenmu 913P - new full sized folder from Sanrenmu

The handle could be familiar because it's the same as the Benchmade Vex 10750:

- sturdy folder with an excellent fit and finish
- solid lock-up without any blade play
- unique sheepfoot style blade shape
- blade is perfectly centered
- big thumb studs for easier opening
- smooth opening and closing
- very comfortable and grippy G10 handle

- no tip up carry options

  1. Is it the same handle as the Benchmade, or are they only similar?

  2. Got mine. It's my most favorite knife now!

Great quality, right size, razor sharp. Open and close like a knife 10x more expensive.

  3. Prehaps I would get it modified to tip up carry with a piper... I hate tip down, so it's a big shame for that amazing blade...

  4. I've seen the 913p on YouTube with a mirror-finish plain edge blade and it's really a terrific looking knife! I understand it's been available in Germany for a couple of years. Do you think we in the US will ever be offered this version?

  5. The uncoated, plain edge version is quite rare. I could only find them in few German webshops at 3x the price of the black version.

  6. I just ordered the 913p. I'm sure I'll be happy with it, but I still think the uncoated, plain edge blade is much more attractive.

  7. It's a solid folder with good ergonomics and a quality feel. You won't be disappointed. Let me know your experiences when you receive it.

  8. I have my 913p in hand, and it's another great knife from Sanrenmu. The F&F is great as always and I like the heft, ergos, and blade shape. Coated blades and partial serrations are not my favorites, so I'll have to deduct a couple of points for that, and I prefer tip up carry, but that's not a big deal. Edge and serrations super sharp and with this blade shape and ergonomics this will be a real user. As is, I'll give this knife a score of 8 out of 10. With an uncoated, plain edge blade this would be, for me, an almost perfect knife.
