  1. Isti I just checked fasttech and they are selling some kershaws (dont know if clones) cryo and clash as Y-START but with the kershaw logo on the blade, thinking right now about getting one of those, look

    1. I used to have the Clash of those three. That was a quality piece with fast deployment thanks to the "speed safe" assissted opening.

  2. This knife with the big hole and the ridiculously small blade would be cool the other way around, with a blade closing into the blade.
I'm still looking for one of those Al-Mar cigar cutter clones but with no luck so far...

    1. The point of the FURA knife with a big hole is that it can be used as a one-finger knuckle when closed.

    2. Still one of the most useless knives to me...

  3. I think a steel insert or a steel lock would be better than titanium on steel. I have seen a few YouTubers demonstrate carbidizing the lockbar surface. Also, a few manufacturers carbidize their titanium locks. I looked into it, but the machine is more than I am willing to pay at the moment. It applies a thing tungsten carbide layer.

    1. First off, if a Ti framelock is well done than it doesn't need steel inserts. It doesn't even have to be a CRK knife, even my old Malyshev Gnome works well after years of use.
But if you want to carbidize a lock then you can make your own tool for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eyx5xOLlqk
Instead of the battery charger you can use some 9V batteries - 2 or 3 in a line work well.
