Ontario RAT style Ganzo folders: G727M and G740

G740, RAT, G727M and RAT2 size comparison

Although the blade style of G740 is closer to the ESEE Avispa both Ganzo folders are similar to the Ontario RAT. Excellent practical design, full flat ground blades, good ergonomics.

  1. Again, you pushed me over the board... I've been considering a Rat on and off for the longest times, without ever buying. The Ganzos I have have convinced me to go that way.
So, yep, G727 on order in camo for me...

    1. The G727 is more EDC friendly than the full size RAT for sure.

    2. Indeed, and it has an axis lock which I kind of prefer to liner locks!

    3. I received my G727 camo today. My best Ganzo so far, I'd say. Was a bit tight when I got it but loosening the pivot was easy and didn't affect the centring of the blade. Now it's super smooth, perfectly centred, very sharp and has the great ergos of the Rat. A winner!

      Now, I wait for the G740... ;-)

    4. My recent EDC is the wood handle G727M-W1.
I really appreciate its asthetics and light weight.
