Review: Ganzo G729 vs. Paramilitary 2 clone

Both of them come with an excellent fit & finish and solid lock-up.
You can find my detailed review about the Ganzo G729: ***HERE***

Differences:
PM2:
- Compression lock
- Less weight thanks to the skeletonized nested steel liners
- Jimpings on the blade spine and on the finger choil too
- Slightly thicker and narrower blade
- One way mounted (right hand tip up) pocket clip
- Bigger lanyard hole with lanyard tube

G729:
- Axis-lock
- It weights more thanks to the full steel liners
- Jimpings on the blade spine only
- Slightly thinner and wider blade with sharpening notch
- Two way mounted (right or left hand tip up) pocket clip
- Smaller lanyard hole

Details of the Paramilitary 2 clone:
Blade length: 3.46" (88 mm)
Blade thickness: 0.137" (3.5 mm)
Blade steel: 8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel (58 - 60 HRC)
Open length: 8.19" (208 mm)
Closed length: 4.72" (120 mm)

Because of a stupid rule of Aliexpress the sellers are forced to photoshop the locking mechanism on the folders. So don't worry these folders come with compression-lock!

    1. I prefer the axis-lock.
For me the axis-lock and the liner/frame locks are more convenient to operate.

  3. Got the digi camo axis-lock Ganzo paramilitary this morning.
It's really a great piece, very well put together, smooth enough to flick open easily, sharp, comfortable in the hand (thanks spydie for that one), small-ish but large enough. An almost perfect EDC that you won't fear loosing or breaking !

  4. I'am looking for a dragonfly 2 fake, but don't find that knife anywhere...
Could someone help me with a link please?
BTW, you should test sometimes smaller, handy, light (~60gr) EDC knives too.
These beasts are just too big and uncomfortable for most people I think.

    1. I can't find the Dragonfly either.

Sanrenmu has a ton of small folders in that category. Unfortunately most of them are too small for my taste.
