Have a look at my detailed review HERE

Sanrenmu 7090LUX-PHI with Sandvik 12C27 blade: ***HERE***

Enlan EW009: ***HERE***

  1. That first Ganzo looks quite a bit like a Rexford (or Böker) Epicenter. More than anything by Lionsteel, methinks.

  2. Yep, sure, but the SR1 is mostly defined by the integral ridged aluminium handle, don't you think? Which isn't there. So outside of that little wave on top of the blade, that sort of reminds me more of a Rexford (but that might also be because I'm just carrying mine at the moment ;) )

    1. The same alu handle design would double the cost easily which isn't acceptable in this budget category. In my eyes the blade shape of the Epicenter seems more pointy but unfortunately I don't have one in my pocket. ;)

  3. Yep, you're right, the epicenter is slightly pointier in blade shape, and the glass breaker/pocket clip on the G722 is clearly pointing towards the SR1. It's weird how I had not noticed so far how eerily similar in shape the Epi and the SR1 really are. Clearly this Ganzo is borrowing from both sides. The G720 is, to me, way closer to the SR1, even if the locking mechanism differs.
