  1. Well. I don't thank you! I HAD TO order one of those auto Ganzo immediately... Knowing that I already have a MG Tyrant in the mail as well as a Mora Bushcraft.

    1. Life is not fair, get used to it! ;)
I'm also planning to buy a Tyrant but I haven't decided about the blade - handle design yet.
Which version do you have in the mail?

  2. Plain-jane blade and stonewashed handle with no targets. Simpler design means I'll probably get tired of it less quickly and the stonewash will certainly hold better in my pocket than the apparently very coarse bead blasting...

    1. I'm leaning towards that version too.

  3. It says snap lock, yet looks nothing like a snap lock. It looks like a button lock? It looks like it might be an auto. Yup, just found the discussion thread. That makes it illegal in the UK, saved me a purchase!

  4. Isn't almost everything illegal in the UK? Like anything with more than 3" blade, locking mechanism, one handed deployment and so on? Or at least illegal to carry unless your deep in the wilderness (and even there if you run into a zealous police officer)?

That one is an auto, and sure it's illegal to carry in France. Like most nice knives. But that's a law no one enforces unless you go around threatening people or attacking them. So I buy that knife and won't be carrying it too much.

    1. Your description of a blade is what is legal to carry without reason. You can carry anything that isn't a banned item if you have reason (e.g. going camping, part of your work tools). Automatic knives however are banned items, so you can't legally own, buy or sell them legaly in the UK. There's a good thread on it here if you are interested: http://www.britishblades.com/forums/content.php?12-The-Law-FAQ

  5. Damn it Fasttech, why there is only surface shipping for knives now? Maybe just my country? I bought from them a few times last year and they were shipped via airmail.

  6. Hi Ben,
I linked Fasttech for the new Ganzo G722 folders because they have slightly better price.

  7. Hi, what's the difference between the Ganzo g7211 and g7212, the photos of the two knives look the same, thought i'd better ask before placing an order.
    Thanks...Jay

    1. The G7211 comes with satin finished blade and bolsters while the blade and bolsters of G7212 are stone washed.
      Better pics HERE.
